This is a week long unit on the Powhatan Tribe. It covers the geography of the eastern woodland region and the various aspects of the Powhatan tribe. 
In this pack there is a nonfiction passage about the geography of the eastern woodland region, as well as a passage about about the Powhatan’s homes, travel, and occupations. I also included a bonus nonfiction passage about Pocahontas! There is a graphic organizer for students to use with the passages and questions. I also included a sort for students to show what they know. There is an abc order activity and a “craftivity” to do at the end of the unit.
 
This resource is paper and digital (Google Slides)! You get both versions with your purchase. Everything is also offered in color and black and white.
